Lilo Accessible App Design System

Modern UI for market entry
Liloplus GmbH was preparing to launch a new mobile app. The goal was to create a modern and consistent user interface that would convey a strong visual identity from the outset while also allowing for flexible future development. The focus was on recognizability, clear structures, and a design system that enables cross-product scalability.
Modular design system with accessible color contrasts
A component-based design system was developed for Liloplus, specifically designed for use in mobile applications. The UI components, which can be flexibly combined, enable a consistent design across all screens and provide a solid foundation for future expansions. The design follows current UX principles and relies on clear hierarchies, intuitive controls, and consistent interaction patterns. The result is a user-friendly interface with high brand recognition. A key aspect was ensuring accessible color contrasts. All components were optimized for readability and perceptibility, ensuring that users with visual impairments also receive an equivalent user experience.
Expertise used
LiloPlus GmbH
LiloPlus was founded with the mission of easing the burden on parents and helping children build a solid financial future. The idea emerged from a collaboration between founder Laura and Holger, whose vision was to make saving for children a collective effort rather than an individual one. With the support of family, sponsors, and friends, the goal is to create easy access to regular financial planning. In developing its app, Lilo places special emphasis on simplicity, transparency, and participation, ensuring that both parents and supporters are actively involved.
